Menorca to host 2026 forum on cultural heritage management

The Foro Llatzeret Menorca 2026 is set to take place on Saturday, October 10, in the port of Maó. Organized by Es Diari and the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, the event will focus on the challenges and opportunities regarding the management of Menorca’s historical and cultural heritage.

The discussions will cover various aspects of the island's identity, including Menorca Talaiòtica, religious monuments such as the El Toro sanctuary, and military architecture like the Fortaleza de La Mola. Other topics include the recovery of the naval hospital on Isla del Rey, excavations at Torre den Galmés, and the management of rural estates with significant natural and patrimonial value.
