Mental health therapy becomes more accepted among Czech actors and public figures
There is a growing trend among Czech actors and younger generations to openly seek professional mental health support. Public figures, including actress Aneta Krejčíková, have shared their experiences with therapy, noting its use in navigating co-parenting relationships and resolving past grievances. Actor Jakub Štáfek has also spoken openly about the necessity of therapy in managing the emotional toll of his daughter's diagnosis of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
Psychological experts suggest that relationship patterns, such as the tendency to attempt to 'save' a partner, often stem from unresolved childhood trauma. Psychotherapist Kaytee Gillis explains that individuals who experienced unstable environments may unconsciously seek out troubled partners in an attempt to heal their own past wounds or gain acceptance from figures similar to their original caregivers.
