Mentana hosts 7th Mezzaluna Cup international ice dance competition

The 7th edition of the Mezzaluna Cup, an international ice dance competition, is scheduled to take place from October 23 to 25 at the Palaghiaccio Mezzaluna in Mentana, near Rome. Recognized by the International Skating Union (ISU) and organized by the Italian Ice Sports Federation (Fisg), the event features 46 couples across five age categories representing 17 countries, including Italy, Finland, Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Greece, Hungary, South Korea, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the USA.

Competitions begin on October 23 with youth categories ranging from Basic Novice to Advanced Novice. The Junior and Senior categories will compete on October 24 and 25. Notable participants include Italian senior couples Giulia Isabella Paolino and Andrea Tuba, as well as Noemi Maria Tali and Noah Lafornara. International competitors include the Finnish pair Juulia Turkkila and Matthias Versluis, recent winners of the ISU CS Denis Ten Memorial.
