Turkey hosts various cultural and youth heritage programs

Various cultural and youth-oriented programs are being conducted across Turkey to promote heritage and healthy living.

In Karşıyaka, the municipality has launched the ‘Atatürk’s Footsteps with Karşıyaka’ route as part of its Open Air City Museum project. This guided tour allows participants to visit historical sites frequented by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is hosting the Hasankeyf Civilization, History, and Culture Camp, which recently welcomed youth from Trabzon and Antalya. Participants explored historical landmarks in Hasankeyf, Batman, and Midyat, including the Malabadi Bridge.

In Kayseri, the ‘Yeşil Pedallar Sağlık İçin Dönüyor’ (Green Pedals Turning for Health) project organized a cycling event in the Soğanlı Valley and Avla Canyon. Led by the Kayseri Governor's Office, the initiative aims to combat addiction and promote healthy lifestyles among young people through sports and nature exploration.

Additionally, the Menteşe International Youth Center is hosting summer activities for children, including book reading circles and workshops, to foster reading habits and social development.
