Menudo announces 50th anniversary reunion tour

Seven former members of the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo have announced an international tour to celebrate the group’s 50th anniversary. The tour is scheduled to begin on October 10 in Los Angeles, California, and will conclude on December 12 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The itinerary also includes a stop in Mexico City.

The participating members include René Farrait, Roy Rosselló, Raymond Acevedo, Sergio Blass, Ralphy Rodríguez, Rubén Gómez, and Robert Avellanet. Notable former members Ricky Martin and Draco Rosa will not participate in the reunion.

To accommodate the performers' current adult voices, the group’s classic repertoire—including hits like ‘Súbete a mi moto’ and ‘Claridad’—will be performed in adapted keys. The members stated that while the melodies have been adjusted, the show will maintain the characteristic Menudo sound. The tour aims to be a multi-generational event, appealing to original fans as well as their children and grandchildren.
