New ramen restaurants scheduled to open in Toda and Chikushino

Several new ramen establishments are scheduled to open in the Saitama and Fukuoka prefectures.

In Toda City, Saitama, the Yokohama Iekei ramen chain Ichikakuya is set to open its Toda branch on August 13, 2026. The new location will occupy the former site of Chuka Ryori Pekitei in Niizo. The establishment is expected to provide the region with a more accessible option for fans of the popular Yokohama-style pork bone soup.

In Fukuoka Prefecture, Menya Hachishoten is scheduled to open in September 2026 within the Shuroa Mall in Chikushino City. This new shop is a direct descendant of the popular Kurume-based ramen restaurant Ramen Hachi, known for its rich and smooth tonkotsu broth.
