Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş visits addiction recovery center in Konya

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş visited the Konya branch of the Liman Ayık Yaşam Association to support youth struggling with addiction. During the visit, Kavuş met with individuals receiving guidance services and offered moral support, stating, “We are always with you.”

Selçuk Sanrı, the association's General Coordinator, provided details regarding the organization's efforts to combat alcohol and drug addiction. He noted that the Konya branch has achieved a success rate of over 80 percent, with 36 graduates so far. The association currently has a capacity of 25 clients, with a three-month guidance process before graduation.

To expand their impact, the association is planning to move its current male branch to a larger facility featuring 7,000 square meters of indoor space and 10,000 square meters of outdoor space.
