Mercado Livre and Wook launch new retail discount campaigns

Various e-commerce platforms are launching promotional campaigns. In Brazil, Mercado Livre has released new discount coupons for Wednesday, August 12. The codes offer 25% and 22% off for purchases starting at R$ 29, with a maximum discount of up to R$ 500 per order.

In Portugal, the online bookstore Wook is running a campaign titled ‘Devolvemos 100%’ (We return 100%) to coincide with a solar eclipse. For eligible purchases of books, ebooks, and audiobooks made on August 12, 2026, the retailer will issue a voucher worth 100% of the paid amount. The voucher is issued 15 days after the order is shipped, is valid for 60 days, and cannot be converted into cash. The promotion excludes school books, marketplace items, and items published within the last 24 months, and is capped at orders under 300 euros.
