Mercado Livre cargo worth R$ 400,000 recovered in Santa Catarina

Police in Santa Catarina recovered a shipment of goods valued at approximately R$ 400,000 that had been stolen from a Mercado Livre warehouse in Itajaí. The theft involved breaking into the facility, disabling the power supply and surveillance cameras, and stealing the recording equipment.

A total of 663 items were stolen, including cooktops, washing machines, electric tools, and other household utensils. Following an investigation by the Military Police, the goods were located in a warehouse in the Guarda do Cubatão neighborhood in Palhoça.

During the operation, officers also recovered a jet ski that had been previously stolen in Balneário Camboriú. Two men were arrested at the scene and taken to the police station. The investigation is ongoing to determine if other individuals were involved in the crime.
