Mercan Köşk series to premiere on ATV this September
The new television series 'Mercan Köşk', a joint production by FARO and Sinehane, is set to premiere on the ATV network on Saturday, September 5, at 20:00.
Starring Kubilay Aka, Hafsanur Sancaktutan, and Bertan Asllani, the drama explores themes of family secrets, losses, and long-standing reckonings. Kubilay Aka, who portrays the character Aras Akıncı, described the role as a man who must face uncontrollable emotions and past conflicts despite his desire for control.
Filming for the production is being conducted in the Tarsus district of Mersin, utilizing the region's historical architecture and natural landscapes to establish the series' atmosphere. The production is directed by Yahya Samancı, with a screenplay by Ahunur Serdaroğlu.
