Mercedes-AMG G 63 Offroad PRO launched in India at ₹3.80 crore

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Offroad PRO, a limited-edition variant of the iconic G-Class designed for enhanced all-terrain capability. The vehicle is priced starting at ₹3.80 crore (ex-showroom).

The Offroad PRO features specialized hardware, including the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension system, which utilizes active hydraulic roll stabilization and adaptive damping. It also incorporates AMG Active Balance Control, offering three stages of roll-stiffness adjustment, and AMG Traction PRO, which manages braking torque at individual wheels for Rock and Sand driving modes.

Under the hood, the SUV is powered by a handcrafted 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The vehicle achieves 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and features AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

Exterior and interior upgrades include a professional roof luggage rack with aluminum panels, a removable rear ladder, and exclusive 20-inch AMG five-twin-spoke matte black wheels. The interior is equipped with the MBUX NTG7 infotainment system and a dedicated off-road cockpit that displays real-time data such as altitude, steering angle, and tire pressure.
