Mercedes-AMG opens European pre-orders for electric CLA 45 4MATIC+
Mercedes-AMG has opened pre-orders in Europe for the new electric CLA 45 4MATIC+, available in both Sedan and Shooting Brake body styles. The vehicle is powered by three independent axial flux motors and utilizes an 800-volt architecture. This setup produces a system output of 500 kW (680 hp) and a maximum torque of 1,759 Nm.
The Sedan version offers a WLTP range of up to 670 km, while the Shooting Brake provides a similar range. The vehicle is capable of rapid charging, moving from 10% to 80% state of charge in 22 minutes via compatible DC fast chargers. The CLA 45 4MATIC+ Coupé is expected to start at just under 80,000 EUR.
Additionally, Mercedes-AMG announced that the GLA model line will receive a 45 4MATIC+ AMG derivative. This upcoming model will feature the 94 kWh battery used in the GLC and three axial flux motors, with an estimated WLTP range of approximately 560 km.
