Mercedes and Buenos Aires Province sign penitentiary cooperation agreement

The Mayor of Mercedes, Juan Ignacio Ustarroz, and the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of Buenos Aires Province, Martín Mena, signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen collaboration with Penitentiary Unit No. 5.

The agreement aims to deepen joint efforts through workshops at the facility, focusing on areas such as health, education, and security. Previous community projects involving the unit include the repair of patrol cars, work on a mobile health operating room, and the production of materials for educational establishments.

The meeting also included a tribute to judicial workers who were victims of state terrorism and the opening of a provincial congress.
