Mercedes-Benz and ChargePoint launch fleet EV charging service in UK and Germany

Mercedes‑Benz and ChargePoint have announced a joint offering that provides business fleets with a complete electric‑vehicle charging solution in the United Kingdom and Germany. The service covers site assessment, design, installation of AC and DC chargers, and ongoing operation and maintenance, with features such as intelligent load management, automated energy reporting and cost analysis. Optional integration of solar panels and battery storage is also available.

The partnership aims to simplify fleet electrification by giving customers a single point of contact, reducing upfront costs and total cost of ownership. Mercedes‑Benz global head of charging solutions Nico Dettmer said the offering “closes a key gap in the charging ecosystem for fleet customers,” while ChargePoint chief executive Rick Wilmer highlighted the combined expertise to deliver a seamless experience. The companies plan to extend the service to additional markets later in the year.
