Mercedes-Benz expands electric C-Class with C 300 4MATIC
Mercedes-Benz has expanded its all-electric C-Class lineup with the introduction of the C 300 4MATIC. This model features a dual-motor setup delivering 310 kW (421 hp) and 800 Nm of torque, enabling a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 4.5 seconds.
The vehicle is built on an 800-volt architecture and equipped with an 85 kWh battery. It offers a driving range of up to 690 kilometers (WLTP). High-speed charging capabilities allow for up to 320 kW, which can add approximately 290 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes.
A notable technical feature is the One-Box braking system, designed for high-efficiency energy regeneration. The system can recover up to 300 kW of power and is engineered to handle up to 99% of deceleration without relying on traditional friction brakes, even during ABS intervention on slippery surfaces.
The C 300 4MATIC includes a 470-liter rear trunk and a 101-liter front trunk, with a towing capacity of up to 1,800 kg.
