Mercedes-Benz expands electric CLA lineup with Shooting Brake and high‑performance CLA 45
Mercedes-Benz tested the CLA 200 Shooting Brake equipped with a 58 kWh LFP battery on Czech highways, recording a real‑world range of about 525 km and a combined energy use of 12.8 kWh per 100 km. The body style offers a larger cargo volume than the sedan, and the model is priced from roughly CZK 1.22 million.
The company also unveiled a fully electric CLA 45 4MATIC+ that will be offered in both sedan and Shooting Brake versions. It features three axial‑flux motors delivering 500 kW (≈672 hp) and 1,759 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of up to 270 km/h. Its 94 kWh battery supports up to 330 kW DC charging, with WLTP ranges exceeding 670 km for the sedan and 640 km for the Shooting Brake, and an energy consumption of 16.5‑19.6 kWh per 100 km.
