Mercedes-Benz expands electric vehicle lineup with high-performance models
Mercedes-Benz is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with several high-performance and luxury models featuring advanced 800-volt architectures.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 53, a four-door electric coupe, offers a system output of 400 kW (544 hp) and a range of up to 792 km. It supports DC fast charging up to 600 kW, allowing for significant range recovery in short intervals. A more powerful AMG GT Coupé variant has been noted for delivering up to 1,169 hp and nearly 700 km of autonomy.
In the premium segment, the restyled Mercedes S-Class features enhanced computing power via the MB.OS operating system, which requires water cooling, and an expansive Superscreen interface. Additionally, the CLA 350+ Shooting Brake combines sportiness with practicality, achieving a real-world range of approximately 530 km and utilizing 800-volt technology for efficient charging.
