Mercedes-Benz expands electric vehicle lineup in Europe and Ireland

Mercedes-Benz is expanding its electric vehicle lineup in Europe with new options for its VLE electric minivan and the introduction of the GLB and GLC models in the Irish market.

In Europe, the VLE electric minivan lineup is being expanded to include the AMG Line and AMG Line Plus trims, offering more sporty aesthetics with specialized grilles, bumpers, and larger wheels. The VLE 300 now also offers an 8-seater configuration, catering to both large families and VIP shuttle services. The vehicle features a 115kWh battery providing a range of over 700km (WLTP) and supports 300kW rapid charging.

In Ireland, Mercedes-Benz has launched the new GLB and GLC models. The GLB is available in both all-electric and petrol-hybrid versions, with the electric variant offering a range of up to 624km. The GLB features improved interior space, vegan upholstery options, and advanced driver assistance systems. The all-electric GLC SUV also arrives, representing the brand's new design language for future models.
