Mercedes-Benz expands electric luxury van lineup with VLE

Mercedes-Benz is expanding its electric luxury van lineup with the introduction of the VLE model, designed to combine the practicality of an MPV with the comfort of an E-Class. The new range features an 800V electrical architecture and offers significant range capabilities, with some models reaching over 700 kilometers.

Key updates to the lineup include the introduction of an all-wheel-drive version, the VLE 400 4MATIC. This high-performance variant utilizes a dual-motor setup and a 115 kWh battery, enabling a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 6.5 seconds and a towing capacity of up to 2.5 tons. To increase market accessibility, Mercedes-Benz has also introduced new entry-level trims, such as the six-seat VLE 300.

The vehicle is positioned as a premium shuttle for luxury hotels and high-end transport services, emphasizing passenger space, flexible seating configurations, and a quiet electric drivetrain.
