Mercedes-Benz expands VLE electric limousine lineup

Mercedes-Benz has expanded its electric VLE Grand Limousine lineup with the launch of the VLE 400 4MATIC. This new model features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 310 kW (421 hp), allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. It utilizes a 115 kWh NMC battery and an 800-volt architecture, supporting 300 kW DC fast charging, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in 25 minutes. The VLE 400 4MATIC offers a WLTP range of up to 654 km.

Looking ahead to 2027, the company plans to introduce two additional variants: the VLE 250 and the VLE 350 4MATIC. Both upcoming models will utilize 80-kWh LFP batteries. The VLE 250 is expected to be the entry-level model with a projected range of nearly 490 km and a starting price of approximately 64,804 euros. The VLE 350 4MATIC will feature all-wheel drive, offering improved traction and driving dynamics with an estimated WLTP range between 430 and 450 km.
