Mercedes-Benz expands VLE electric lineup with 400 4MATIC

Mercedes-Benz has expanded its electric VLE Grand Limousine lineup with the introduction of the VLE 400 4MATIC. This new all-wheel-drive variant features dual electric motors delivering a total output of 310 kW (422 hp), enabling an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

The vehicle is designed for luxury passenger transport and family use, offering configurations for five, six, seven, or eight seats. Equipped with a 115 kWh lithium-ion battery and an 800V electrical system, the 400 4MATIC offers an estimated WLTP range of up to 654 kilometers. It also features enhanced utility with a towing capacity of up to 2,500 kg and specialized stabilization systems to manage trailer movement.

In markets such as Spain and the Czech Republic, the model is available in various trim levels, including Base, AMG Line, Exclusive, and AMG Line Plus. While the all-wheel-drive version offers higher performance, the existing VLE 300 front-wheel-drive model remains more efficient, with a potential range of up to 713 kilometers.
