Mercedes-Benz GLC wins German Premium Car of the Year 2027

The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz GLC 400 4MATIC has been named ‘German Premium Car of the Year 2027’ by the German Car of the Year (GCOTY) Awards. The electric model features EQ Technology with a combined energy consumption ranging between 14.9 and 18.8 kWh/100 km.

In Malaysia, Mercedes-Benz has previewed the 2026 CLA 200 AMG Line, a petrol-hybrid version of the C174-generation CLA. The vehicle will be locally assembled (CKD) in Pekan, Pahang, following an initial period of CBU imports. The CLA 200 utilizes a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 48V hybrid system, producing a total system output of 184PS and 330Nm. It is expected to be priced from approximately RM 275,000.
