Mercedes-Benz highlights heritage at Monterey Car Week

During Monterey Car Week, Mercedes-Benz introduced the Future Classics Auction House, an initiative designed to bridge the brand's 140-year history with modern and future luxury models. The event featured high-end vehicles, including a near-twin of LeBron James’ custom Mercedes-Maybach S 680.

In a related creative development, designer Andrea Piazza, known as ‘apiazzadesign,’ unveiled the Maybach Aeterna Concept. This digital CGI project envisions a fastback sedan inspired by Art Deco and ‘digital luxury.’ The concept features an electric vehicle (EV) powertrain and suggests a design direction that could potentially re-establish Maybach as a distinct, standalone ultra-luxury brand.
