Mercedes-Benz Korea begins pre-orders for new electric CLA

Mercedes-Benz Korea has officially commenced pre-orders for the All-New Electric Mercedes-Benz CLA, a model featuring the company's next-generation Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA). The lineup includes the CLA 200 electric and CLA 250+ electric, with prices ranging from 52.9 million won to 67.7 million won. Notably, the domestic pricing is approximately 30 million won lower than comparable models in Germany.

The electric models offer significant performance capabilities, with the CLA 250+ electric providing a maximum driving range of up to 792km based on WLTP standards. Both electric variants utilize an 800-volt rapid charging system, allowing for 10% to 80% charging in approximately 20 to 22 minutes.

Technological upgrades include the new MB.OS operating system, the MBUX Super Screen, and AI-driven virtual assistants integrated with ChatGPT. For the Korean market, the vehicles will support local applications such as Tmap Auto and Genie Music. Customer deliveries for the electric models are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Additionally, 48V mild hybrid internal combustion engine models, including the CLA 220, are set to begin sales in September.
