Mercedes-Benz launches all-electric C-Class in Portugal and Croatia
Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the all-electric C-Class in Portugal and Croatia. Built exclusively on the MB.EA platform, this new generation (W520) marks a shift for the model as it moves to a dedicated electric architecture without internal combustion engine counterparts.
In Portugal, the model is available through Sociedade Comercial C. Santos, starting with the C 400 4MATIC version priced from 70,600 euros. This version features dual electric motors producing 489 hp and all-wheel drive, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.1 seconds. It utilizes an 800V electrical architecture and a 94.5 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 760 km (WLTP) and the ability to recover 320 km of range in 10 minutes at compatible fast-charging stations.
The vehicle is the longest C-Class in history, measuring 4,883 mm in length. Design elements include a fastback silhouette, a redesigned illuminated grille with 1,050 LED points, and star-shaped rear light signatures. The interior offers increased cabin space due to an extended wheelbase, complemented by a 470-liter rear trunk and a 101-liter front trunk.
