Mercedes-Benz expands electric C-Class with C 300 4MATIC

Mercedes-Benz has expanded its electric C-Class lineup with the introduction of the C 300 4MATIC, a more affordable all-wheel-drive model following the initial launch of the high-performance C 400 4MATIC.

The new C 300 4MATIC features a dual-motor setup producing 310 kW (approximately 422 hp) and 800 Nm of torque, allowing for an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. It is equipped with an 85 kWh battery and utilizes an 800-volt architecture, supporting DC fast charging up to 320 kW. This configuration offers an estimated range of up to 690 km under the WLTP cycle.

In various markets, the C 300 4MATIC is positioned as a more accessible entry point into the electric C-Class range. For instance, in Germany, prices start at approximately 62,951 euros including VAT, while in France, the starting price is around 63,000 euros. The vehicle includes standard features such as the MBUX infotainment system and various driver assistance tools, with options for air suspension and rear-axle steering.

Mercedes-Benz has indicated that further variants, including rear-wheel-drive models with different battery capacities, are expected to follow in the coming year.
