Mercedes-Benz has introduced new vehicle models in the Australian and Malaysian markets.
In Australia, the second-generation GLB is now available, featuring a choice of two mild-hybrid petrol engines and two electric powertrains. The electric options, which replace the outgoing EQB, utilize an 85kWh battery. The rear-wheel drive GLB250+ electric offers a WLTP range of 570km, while the all-wheel drive GLB350 electric provides 554km. Pricing for the GLB starts at $65,400 for the mild-hybrid model, with the top-tier electric variant reaching $86,200. The new models include the MBUX infotainment system with generative AI capabilities.
In Malaysia, Mercedes-Benz launched the GLC350e 4Matic Coupé Nightfall Edition. Priced at RM442,888, this locally assembled plug-in hybrid features a Night Package that adds gloss black trim to the radiator shell, window frames, and mirrors, along with 20-inch AMG multi-spoke black alloys. The vehicle is powered by a 313 PS/550 Nm powertrain and offers a WLTP EV-only range of over 100 km.
