Mercedes-Benz Thailand EV sales surge 130% in H1 2026, unveils FLEX Mobility campaign
Mercedes‑Benz Thailand reported a 130% year‑on‑year increase in electric vehicle (EV) sales for the first half of 2026, reaching 300 units of the all‑new electric CLA within two months and accumulating over 1,350 pending orders. Total vehicle registrations in the period rose to 2,845 units, while the EV segment grew 100% compared with the previous year. Production capacity at the Ban Thonburi plant is 100‑200 units per month, supported by batteries supplied by Power Tech Ennoe Solutions.
Globally, Mercedes‑Benz posted Q2 2026 sales of 511,900 cars, with EVs accounting for 52,900 units (13% of passenger‑car sales) and a 50% sales rise. In Thailand the company launched the FLEX Mobility campaign, rebranding its finance and after‑sales services under the StarChoice package, priced from 3,000 to 6,000 baht per month and promising savings of up to 400,000 baht over a 3‑5‑year contract. The initiative targets low‑season sales and aims to capture up to 25% of future sales. Top‑end models also showed strong growth, with Maybach up 83% and G‑Class up 100%.
