Mercedes-Benz Türk names Heiko Selzam as CEO, expands executive board

Heiko Selzam, who has held senior leadership roles within Daimler Truck and most recently served as the United Kingdom Country President, will assume the positions of Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes‑Benz Türk on 1 August 2026. In his new role Selzam said, "Mercedes‑Benz Türk is not only a leading company in Turkey’s heavy commercial‑vehicle sector but also a strategic centre within Daimler Truck and Daimler Buses for production, export, R&D and engineering. I am delighted to join this great family."

As part of an organisational transformation, the executive board has been reinforced to six members. Gamze Gökçen Pilevne has been appointed as the board member responsible for Corporate Strategy, Legal, Compliance and External Relations, while Betül Çorbacıoğlu joins as the board member responsible for Human Resources. The expanded board will guide the company’s sustainable growth and transformation objectives.
