Mercedes-Benz UK names Pod as sole home EV charging partner

Mercedes-Benz UK has appointed Pod as its sole home electric vehicle (EV) charging partner. This agreement transitions their existing collaboration into a sole-supplier model designed to streamline the transition to electric mobility for customers.

Under the partnership, Mercedes-Benz customers can purchase the Pod Point Solo 3S home charger at a reduced rate. For a one-time fee of £749 including standard installation, customers save £250 compared to standard rates. Alternatively, an installment plan is available at £27 per month with no upfront fee, offering total savings of over £300 over a three-year term. Each installation includes a five-year warranty.

The partnership covers the entire customer journey, including consultation, payment, installation, and ongoing support. Additionally, customers can access reduced overnight charging rates via the Pod Power by EDF energy tariff and participate in the Pod Rewards programme.
