Mercedes-Benz unveils 680‑hp electric AMG CLA 45 and Shooting Brake models
Mercedes-Benz announced the electric AMG CLA 45, delivering up to 680 hp (500 kW) from three axial‑flange electric motors. The powertrain splits two motors to the rear axle and a third to the front, enabling 0‑100 km/h in under three seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h. A 94 kWh pack provides an estimated range of roughly 670 km, while an 800 V charging system supports up to 330 kW, allowing a 10‑80 % charge in about 22 minutes.
The brand also highlighted the fully electric CLA Shooting Brake, now a year after its market debut. The model has received strong test results and ranks among Finland’s top new registrations. It adds a longer rear roofline, a fixed panoramic glass roof, and a cargo capacity of 540 L plus a 101 L front trunk. Interior features include adaptive suspension, active aerodynamics, and a spacious cabin suited for families, while retaining the sporty handling of the CLA series.
