Mercedes-Benz unveils VISION EQXX prototype and details 2026 E‑Class pricing
Mercedes‑Benz presented the VISION EQXX research prototype, a highly efficient electric luxury car that can travel more than 620 miles (1,000 km) on a single charge while using under 10 kWh per 100 km. The vehicle features a drag coefficient of 0.17, lightweight construction, animal‑free leather alternatives and an AI‑driven digital cabin. It has been tested on European highways, Alpine routes, the Arabian Desert and at Silverstone.
For 2026, Mercedes‑Benz released pricing for the E‑Class lineup. The base E 350 sedan starts at $65,150 (including destination charge) and typically sells about 5.6 % below MSRP, with a $4,750 discount on the entry model. New standard equipment includes a biometric fingerprint scanner. Prices for higher‑trim variants range from roughly $78,150 for the E 450 4MATIC sedan up to the low $90,000 range for the AMG E 53 Hybrid models. Lease offers start at about $1,106 per month.
