Mercedes Emi discusses pole dancing and relationships after Big Brother Naija eviction

Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Ijeoma ‘Mercedes’ Emi has shared insights following her eviction from the reality competition. Mercedes revealed that she initially took up pole dancing as a means of survival rather than a hobby, though she now finds physical and mental benefits in the activity, such as increased flexibility and confidence.

Addressing her time on the show, Mercedes clarified her relationship with fellow contestant Oyin, stating that they were never friends and that Oyin is merely a friend of a friend. She also dismissed rumors that external factors influenced her exit, attributing her participation to divine alignment.

Fellow evicted housemate Martins noted that the experience served as an experiment in empathy, teaching him to give people grace. He expressed that if given the opportunity to return, he would be more outspoken during the competition.
