Mercedes Moné captures AEW Women's World Championship

Mercedes Moné has captured the AEW Women's World Championship, defeating longtime rival Willow Nightingale at the All In 2026 event. This victory marks Moné's first time holding the top title in the women's division since joining the promotion in March 2024.

Following her championship win, Moné has begun asserting her dominance by claiming she is the only “queen” in the division. During an appearance on AEW Collision, she directed verbal jabs at Queen Aminata, questioning her use of the nickname.

Moné faces immediate challenges to her new title. Former champion Thekla has expressed intent to reclaim the championship, and Willow Nightingale remains a potential contender. As AEW prepares for the All Out 2026 pay-per-view in Chicago, speculation continues regarding Moné's first official title defense.
