Mercedes Moné ruled out of AEW All Out due to injury

AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné has been ruled medically unfit to compete at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view scheduled for September 26 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The company announced during the September 16 episode of Dynamite that Moné has not received medical clearance to wrestle.

While the championship will not be defended at All Out, a title eliminator match has been added to the card. Willow Nightingale will face Thekla, with the winner earning the right to challenge Moné for the title. This championship defense has been rescheduled for the WrestleDream event on October 17 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

Moné previously reported sustaining a broken nose during her match against Willow Nightingale at All In, which required stitches. The specific reasons for her current lack of medical clearance have not been disclosed by AEW.
