Mercedes municipality upgrades sports clubs while Olavarría institute receives 30 new computers

The Municipalidad de Mercedes in Uruguay delivered newly built, roof‑covered substitute benches and additional equipment for football and basketball to several local clubs, including Club Carteros, Club Unión, Club Quilmes, Club Defensores and Club Estudiantes. The structures were fabricated by municipal public‑services workshops, aiming to improve safety and comfort for hundreds of children and youth who train and compete in the community facilities.

In Olavarría, Argentina, the Iteco training institute received a donation of 30 high‑end computers from the construction firm Cementos Avellaneda. Mayor Maximiliano Wesner highlighted that the equipment will expand training opportunities and strengthen the partnership between public authorities and the private sector, supporting the development of skilled workers for the local industry.
