Mercedes pit crew maintains efficiency during demanding triple-header

The Mercedes Formula 1 team has successfully navigated a physically demanding triple-header consisting of races in Azerbaijan, Malaysia, and Singapore. Despite the intense heat and humidity, the team maintained high operational standards.

Deputy Team Principal Bradley Lord noted that the crew faced significant challenges, including personnel changes due to injuries. Some crew members stepping in to assist had not performed a live pit stop in 15 years. Despite these circumstances, Mercedes recorded the fastest pit stops in Singapore and followed it with another rapid performance the following weekend.

In the championship standings, Kimi Antonelli extended his lead in the drivers' championship from 81 to 102 points over teammate George Russell. However, the team is focused on the constructors' championship, where they currently hold a 134-point lead over Ferrari, though they have recently lost some ground to both Ferrari and Red Bull.
