Mercedes Ron’s ‘Drawn Together’ premieres on Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video and Banijay’s Pokeepsie Films have released ‘Drawn Together’, a new romantic thriller based on the work of bestselling Argentine-born Spanish author Mercedes Ron. Directed by Óscar Pedraza, the film stars Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego Garcia. The plot follows Marfil Cortés, the daughter of a wealthy Spanish businessman in New York, who is assigned a bodyguard, Sebastián Moore, following a kidnapping attempt.

The release is part of the expanding ‘House of Ron’ audiovisual empire. Ron’s previous ‘Culpables’ trilogy became the most-watched international original for the streamer, accumulating 100 million views. Following her recent first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios, the platform is also preparing the 2027 premiere of ‘Our Fault: London’, the final installment of the English-language adaptation of her trilogy.
