Mercedes unveils limited‑run G‑Class Mirage Edition and previews 2027 Maybach GLS680 SUV

Mercedes‑AMG has introduced the G 63 Mirage Edition, a special‑edition G‑Class SUV limited to 35 units and sold exclusively in the Middle East. The model keeps the standard 4.0‑liter twin‑turbo V8 with mild‑hybrid assistance (585 hp, 850 Nm) and adds a colour‑changing green‑silver metallic finish, 22‑inch Tech Gold forged wheels and a “1 of 35” badge.

The brand also previewed the 2027 Mercedes‑Maybach GLS680, a refreshed luxury SUV aimed at affluent buyers. Highlights include illuminated grille and rim trim, brightwork on the bumper and headlights, 23‑inch Maybach forged wheels with illuminated star caps, and an upgraded M177 Evo V‑8 delivering 603 hp and 627 lb‑ft of torque with a 48‑volt mild‑hybrid boost. Advanced suspension features, such as Car‑to‑X‑based damper control, are also slated for the model slated to arrive in the fourth quarter.
