Merco Empresas 2026 ranking highlights top companies in Peru

The 2026 Merco Empresas Ranking in Peru has been released, evaluating corporate reputation across 29 economic sectors through more than 56,000 surveys.

Toyota del Perú secured the top position within the automotive sector and climbed six spots in the general classification compared to 2025. Óscar Chero, executive manager at Toyota del Perú, attributed this success to the company’s focus on product reliability, customer experience, and sustainable mobility.

In the specialized retail sector, the ranking identified nine leading companies. Major players such as Sodimac, Falabella, and Ripley maintained stable positions at the top of the category. New entries to the sectoral ranking include Tai Loy and Importaciones Hiraoka, while Grupo EFE and Farmacia Universal saw a decline in their standings.
