Mercociudades hosts regional cooperation training in San José de Mayo

San José de Mayo is hosting the 20th training session of the Mercociudades South-South Cooperation Program from August 17 to August 21. The event brings together representatives from local governments, social organizations, and academic institutions from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Uruguay.

Participants are working on 28 selected project proposals focused on care, innovation, security, and resilience. The training process includes in-person workshops and three months of virtual assistance to finalize the proposals. Up to three projects will be selected to receive full funding for technical visits or participation in Mercociudades activities in 2027.
