The Mercofrio 2026 International Congress, organized by the South Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation (ASBRAV), is scheduled to take place from September 15 to 17 in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

The event theme, “Intelligent HVAC-R: AI, Efficiency and Air Quality for a Sustainable Planet,” focuses on connecting technological transformations to environmental challenges. Key topics include artificial intelligence, energy efficiency, decarbonization, air quality, and new refrigerant fluids.

The program includes technical courses on data center climatization and liquid cooling solutions, as well as discussions on energy efficiency models, the transition of refrigerants due to climate change, and the use of automation and data management for sustainable systems.
