Meridianbet secures official betting sponsorship for UFC Fight Night Belgrade

Meridianbet has been appointed the official sports betting sponsor of UFC Fight Night Belgrade, the first UFC event to be held in Serbia. The fight night is scheduled for August 1, 2026, at the Belgrade Arena and will be broadcast live in the United States on Paramount+ and internationally through UFC’s broadcast network.

Under the agreement, Meridianbet will receive exclusive betting rights and prominent branding, including placement inside the Octagon, on fight posters, round cards and in‑arena advertising, as well as integrated digital and social media promotion. The company, founded in Serbia in 2001, now operates in more than 25 regulated markets across Europe, Africa and Latin America. CEO William Scott said, "Serbia is where Meridianbet’s story began 25 years ago, and there is no bigger stage to celebrate that journey than UFC’s first‑ever event in the country."

Meridianbet’s Managing Director for Nigeria, Lolu Desalu, highlighted the partnership’s relevance for Nigerian fans, noting the strong local interest in combat sports and the brand’s aim to connect audiences with major international sporting moments.
