Meritocrazia Italia calls for peace as an institutional vocation

During the VIII National Congress of Meritocrazia Italia in Rome, Serena Sammarco, head of the organization's organizational department, called for a renewed commitment to international dialogue. Sammarco noted that international tensions have become commonplace and highlighted a lack of willingness among nations to identify common goals for peaceful coexistence.

She urged political forces to move beyond ideologies toward concrete action, suggesting that peace should become an “institutional vocation.” Sammarco emphasized that such a stance aligns with the Italian Constitution, which rejects war and mandates adherence to international law to foster relations that benefit citizens.
