Merkezefendi Municipality to host Victory Cup sports tournaments

Merkezefendi Municipality is organizing various sports tournaments to celebrate the 104th anniversary of August 30 Victory Day. The events include wrestling, volleyball, pickleball, football, tennis, and chess.

Specific competition details include:

- Wrestling: Open to Grekoremen, U11, and U13 categories at Sevindik Vadi Park Sports Facilities. Medals will be awarded to winners. - Volleyball: For athletes born in 2015 and 2016, held at the Selçukbey Sports Training Center. - Pickleball: For participants aged 18 and older. - Football: For athletes born in 2018-2019, with prizes for the top three teams. - Tennis: For those born in 2009-2010 and 2011-2012. - Chess: Categories include A, B, and under 10 years old.

Registration deadlines for most events are set for August 20 or 21, with applications processed through the Selçukbey Sports Training Center.
