Merlo hosts NGO administrative support and industrial exhibition

The district of Merlo has seen recent developments focused on institutional support and industrial promotion. Through the Provincial Government’s Institutional Strengthening Program for NGOs, a specialized team from the Directorate of Legal Entities conducted an on-site operation in Villa de Merlo. This initiative allowed 20 local civil society organizations, including retiree centers, sports clubs, and animal protection groups, to resolve pending administrative tasks, such as statute reforms and new foundation constitutions, without traveling to the capital.

Simultaneously, the 8th edition of the ‘Hecho en Merlo’ exhibition concluded at the El Remanso site. Organized by the Municipal Government and the Industrial Union of Merlo, the three-day event showcased local production, businesses, and technical school projects. The event included a forum featuring various mayors to discuss the current industrial landscape and the importance of national industry for employment.
