Merrell to release MOC SPEED STREAK EVO SE for 45th anniversary

Merrell is releasing the ‘MOC SPEED STREAK EVO SE’ on October 7, 2026, to commemorate the brand’s 45th anniversary. The new model draws inspiration from multi-purpose trail shoes from the early 2000s and carries forward the ‘aftersport’ philosophy originally established by the Jungle Moc in 1998, which focused on providing comfort for feet after outdoor activities.

The footwear features a technical slip-on structure using neoprene stretch collars and a multi-layered upper. Sustainability is integrated through the use of 100% recycled mesh linings and 50% recycled EVA foam footbeds. Functional elements include Merrell Air Cushion technology for heel impact absorption and a sticky rubber outsole for improved traction.

The collection will be available in five colors: Flashdance, Black, Talus, Rosewood, and Ridgeway. Four of these colors—Black, Rosewood, Talus, and Ridgeway—were specifically planned in Japan. The shoes are priced at 22,000 yen (including tax) and will be sold at the Merrell Brand Center Shibuya, the official online store, and other authorized retailers.
