Merrimack College awards first Dave McGillivray endowed scholarships

The Dave McGillivray Finish Strong Foundation has announced the first recipients of the David McGillivray ’76, Endowed Scholarship at Merrimack College. Jadis Yarbrough and Elizardo Melenciano, members of the college’s men’s track and field program, were selected for the awards.

Established by alumnus and running industry leader Dave McGillivray, the $100,000 endowed scholarship provides need-based financial assistance to undergraduate students at Merrimack College who participate in a running discipline on a varsity athletic team. The fund is intended to create a permanent source of support for future generations of student athletes.
