Mersin Chamber of Commerce honors top-ranking students

The Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO), in collaboration with the Mersin Provincial Directorate of National Education, held an award ceremony to honor students who achieved high rankings in the 2026 LGS and YKS exams.

During the ceremony, plaques were presented to four students who achieved perfect scores of 500 in the LGS, as well as five students who ranked within the top 100 nationwide in the YKS. Attendees included MTSO Board Member Gökben Gökbulut, representatives from the Education Services Professional Committee, and officials from the Mersin Provincial Directorate of National Education.

Gökbulut emphasized that these achievements are the result of discipline, perseverance, and determination rather than just exam scores. She noted the importance of students remaining adaptable to a rapidly changing world shaped by technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation, urging them to remain lifelong learners.
