Mersin children showcase art at colorful dreams exhibition

Children aged 5 to 14 in Mersin have showcased their creative works in the ‘Minik Ellerden Rengarenk Hayaller’ (Colorful Dreams from Tiny Hands) exhibition. The event featured various artistic mediums, including paintings, weaving, toys, and recycling projects.

The participants received their training at Child Campuses located in Mezitli, Toroslar, Huzurkent, and Silifke, which are managed by the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality. These workshops are designed to support the social, sensory, and motor skill development of children through culture, art, and sports.

The exhibition was held at the İçel Art Club and drew interest from visitors of all ages. Özay Öztürk, the Head of the Family and Child Branch, expressed pride in the children's original works and extended greetings from Mersin Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Seçer and the Union of Municipalities of Turkey.
